If it rises above 70 mg/dL, consume a light snack to help stabilize the blood sugar level. If the blood sugar level does not rise, repeat the process.
- Fast-absorbing foods:
- cup of orange or apple juice.
- A cup of milk.
- 2 teaspoons of sugar.
- 2 teaspoons of raisins.
